Winners and losers in the new WA cabinet



WINNERS

- Troy Buswell: Returns from the backbench after stepping down in shame in April as
Treasurer. Picks up transport and housing portfolios.

- Christian Porter: As well as keeping the important position as attorney-general,
Mr Porter becomes the state's new treasurer.

- Helen Morton: Becomes a new minister, picking up the mental health and disability
services portfolios.



LOSERS

- Graham Jacobs: Dumped to the backbench, being stripped of the water and mental health
portfolios.

- Simon O'Brien: Loses transport to Troy Buswell but remains in the cabinet with the
finance, commerce and small business portfolios.

- Bill Marmion: Loses housing to Mr Buswell as well as commerce to Mr O'Brien but has
been given the water and environment portfolios.

- Liz Constable: Stripped of tourism portfolio but keeps education.
