ACT: ACT Police seize 120 tablets of alleged ecstacy

CANBERRA, Dec 24 AAP - ACT police seized more than 120 tablets of suspected ecstasy
in two raids over the weekend.

A 39-year-old man will face the ACT Magistrates Court after police found 90 suspected
ecstasy tablets at his O'Connor residence in central Canberra on Friday.

In a separate incident yesterday morning police apprehended a 33-year-old north Canberra
man after they intercepted an alleged drug deal in the city.

Police allegedly located three tablets of suspected ecstasy in the man's possession
and a further 33 tablets in his vehicle.

The man has been charged with the possession of a prohibited substance and trafficking
a prohibited substance.

He will appear in the ACT Magistrates Court on January 10.
